It’s like a podcast but a yoga class

Audio-only classes help you move more deeply into the limbs of your yoga practice. Beyond the physical asanas, you will practice pratyahara (sense withdrawal), dharana (focused concentration) and dhyana (meditative absorption). This will help you:

Gentle stretches are held for 3-5 minutes to move beyond muscle and access fascia and connective tissues. A great complementary practice for tighter bodies, athletes, weight lifters and runners on a rest day. New students welcome.

A high energy, strength building, core igniting vinyasa class if you're ready for it. Expect to rock your body to upbeat music and challenge your strength to new heights. Some experience is recommended for this class but not necessary.

I believe all yoga classes are meant to prepare your body for silent sitting. Meditation is as simple as that - sitting silently. The purpose of meditation isn't to silence all thoughts but rather, notice what arises and, without judgement, return to breath. The more you practice, the more you will find that you can pay attention to your breath for longer periods of time. Start with 3 minutes and work your way up. As a Devoted Yogi, you will gain access to 20+ meditations to help you practice stillness.

Why do you record live audio classes?

I record live audio classes to create an authentic experience. By hearing an occasional cough or collective exhale, my audio classes allow you to feel like you’re practicing in a community environment, from the comfort of your home.

Why is the Devoted Yogi membership only $11 per month?

I believe yoga should be an affordable practice, so I have designed my membership to be accessible to your budget. For less than the cost of a drop-in class, you will get unlimited access to a growing library of classes and two new classes each month so you can practice yoga anywhere, anytime. Just roll out your mat, pop-in your earbuds and hit play.

I’m new to yoga. Will I be able to practice audio-only classes?

Yes. I prioritize clear, simple cues in my yoga practice so that you can really focus on experiencing the nuances of each movement and shape in your body, rather than trying to mimic a teacher or students around you. This helps you lay the foundation for a strong yoga practice.

Can I access the membership from my phone?

Yes, you sign-in to your membership through the mobile-friendly version of my website and can either play the class in the embedded Soundcloud player or through the Soundcloud app.
