Yin Yoga - Move into Stillness

Gentle stretches are held for 3-5 minutes to move beyond muscle and access fascia and connective tissues. A great complementary practice for tighter bodies, athletes, weight lifters and runners on a rest day. New students welcome.

Move Into Stillness is a yin yoga class that will act as a series of mini meditations. You will be guided to approach each pose like a different meditation with a different focus, intention or mantra. Each pose will be set up with 1-2 minutes of instruction followed by 2-3 minutes of silence + stillness. There will be about 6 poses in total that, over time, will help you sit more comfortably in longer meditation sessions.
